Automotive Quality Systems -- ISO/TS 16949

ISO/TS 16949 is a technical specification written by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF) in conjunction with the International Organization for Standards (ISO). This specification aligns exisiting American (QS-9000), German (VDA6.1), French (EAQF), and Italian (AVSQ) automotive quality systems within the global automotive community.

American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA)

A2LA is a US association that  accredits testing and calibration laboratories in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements for competence. A2LA accreditation also allows tests and results to be accepted as part of a bilateral agreement with the European cooperation for Accreditation (EA). A2LA is also signatory to the Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation Mutual Recognition Agreement (APLAC MRA).
